- Ace USteve Runs the best little hidden gem in southern arizona. Great camping here, quit winding hills, quite lake.
- Roger HMy family and I wanted to go camping for a couple of days and we were set on going to Burnt Corral campground. Looks like a decent place to camp but the good sites (even numbered) sit lakeside and are first come first serves. We thought we should try knowing it's a 2 + hour drive. Thinking about it we decided what if people were there and checked in a day prior? We don't want to drive back home to ruin our trip so I found La Siesta campgrounds online. Reservations only done through email. It was the night before and about 8:30 pm I thought I'd try. Vickie responded almost immediately saying that had plenty of room. Fantastic! We made our journey the next morning. Upon arriving we checked in and Vickie said that we had the entire campgrounds to ourselves and to choose. We did. Of course we're in a tent and it was windy and cold so we had major problems putting it up. Very frustrating 😕. E finally got set up, did the normal things. Campfire, smores, and food. The temps reached a balm...
- Aria Swords cant even begin to describe how wonderful the beautiful gem la siesta is. Steve is an angel on earth. he is the most hard working, amiable, and generous person i know. he makes sure all of his guests are well taken care of and happy. his staff does an amazing job on maintaining the grounds. not only that but they are extremely friendly and always ready to give a helping hand. i wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but la siesta. i am forever grateful to Steve for letting me stay.
